District 9

          The film District 9 not only is a very interesting film is truly an original thought. While watching all the aliens and storyline I couldn’t help but smile, for it was not just all exploding aliens and action but actually had a good story. Don’t get me wrong I am all for the action which District 9 had plenty of but this movie integrated both story and raw action to make an amazing combination. Although the documentary style cameras are a little shaky it adds a realistic feel to the movie. With a scale of 1 to5 I approve District 9 a true 5 out of 5

Hot Rod

When I am thinking of a movie to watch with the friends Hot Rod is the one that comes to mind for a good time. With what is likely one of the best comedies ever made it goes through every man’s dream to be a stunt man. With a fantastically hilarious cast including Andy Samburg the story although touching at heart stays funny throughout. Unlike most comedies that throw joke after joke of nonsense Hot Rod’s comedy makes sense throughout and really ties the story together in a creative way. In a rating scale of 1 to 5 I would definitely give Hot Rod a 5 out of 5 for its hilarity, story, and amazing cast.
